This year, the Seven Hills community has gotten an amazing new addition to the middle school community. Hard-working and caring, Mrs. Morelli is excited to be here and get to know each student. The Seven Hills community is delighted to have her as our new administrative assistant. As the secretary of the middle school, Mrs. Morelli has many responsibilities, from helping kids when they’re not feeling well, late, or if they forgot their lanyard to planning events and keeping everyone informed about what’s happening in the middle school. Her job undoubtedly requires hard work, patience, and good communication skills.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mrs. Morelli is a Seven Hills alumni, graduating with the class of 1985. She has a long history with the school, as her mother, Velma Morelli, worked as a secretary to the headmaster. She herself has worked in The Seven Hills business office for a decade, starting from 2010. She has also worked in the resale shop as well as managed summer and afterschool programs. Morelli stayed in Cincinnati for university, ultimately graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in broadcasting in 1990. She then worked in television for the CBS affiliate before working at the school. She started her new position as administrative assistant in the Middle School on July 1, 2023.
In addition to her job, Mrs. Morelli enjoys going to the theater, writing, walking, and pilates. She enjoys going to Michigan, where her two sisters own cottages.
Mrs. Morelli loves her job and wants everyone to feel welcome whenever they need help from the office. “You’ve got a friend in the office,” she assures everyone. She can also answer any question you might have, and if she can’t, she will “find the person who can.” Mrs. Morelli loves the community and feels like “it’s a family.” She loves getting to know everyone, even if it might take a little time for her to get to know your name, and she finds the middle school “warm and inviting.” She feels like the most challenging part of her job is planning all the new events that this year will bring. The Seven Hills community is so excited to welcome her into our community. She is the perfect person for this job.
