Despite their size the swim team has had an incredibly successful season with a total of 305 points, placing third in the championship meet out of nine teams. This year the swim team consisted of a total of five Stinger Athletes of the week. First our A swim relay of Felix Doepke, Mary Sellinger, Marissa Mcnerney, and Santiago Garcia were honored, and then Cadence Jackson who won Stinger Athlete of the week individually.

Even though the swim team did really well, we found that people don’t go to the swim meets.  “I feel like not a lot of people are into swim because we didn’t have a lower school swim team,” eighth grader Josie LaBare said.
