His students have said that he is a great coach and that they would definitely have him as a coach again. Apart from being a coach, he has been a role model for many kids.

Everyone who he has coached enjoyed their time and has rated him as one of the best coaches they have ever had. One of his players, Law Kennedy, described Topmiller as “Him” which means he is the greatest. Another one of his players, Henry, thinks Topmiller is “Glorious” because he is “a great coach that deserves the title of Glorious Topmiller”.

Topmiller has many great qualities but the most important one is his friendliness. He helps his players get away from a bad spot, whether it is in a sport or in life. “He really cares about you and the team,” Law says. “He is like a friend that coaches but jokes with you to make you feel better.”

Other than being a great friend, Topmiller is also a great coach. He is always trying to improve your skills and help you with sports. Henry Wenzel said, “He is tough on you but I think I like my coaches to tell me when I did something wrong.” Henry understands how Topmiller is just trying to help him get better at baseball. Henry also added, “My favorite part about Topmiller is how he pushes you.”

Topmiller wasn’t always a coach. He has worked in many different environments such as a study hall teacher until Mr. Schnirring asked if he wanted to step up and try coaching. He has also worked in the “gym for 25 years (as a personal trainer).” And fun fact, he trained Ms. Stettler! He also worked at the Jewish Hospital.

Topmiller also has many hobbies that range from the field to the gym. He has been a “wrestler for 5 years” and is unimaginably strong. His personal records for weightlifting are “405 lbs bench, 650 lbs squat, 500 lbs deadlift, and 1250 lbs leg press.” He also played baseball in high school in the outfield until he hurt his arm and then moved to 2nd base, shortstop, and first base.

Topmiller is a great coach and an even better person. Topmiller teaches everyone to just be a good person. He has been helpful and kind and his goal is to keep doing what he does and try to make everyone a better person.
