This year the swim team consisted of a total of five Stinger Athletes of the week. She said some reasons are because there is a lack of advertisement and hype towards the swim meets. \u201cBasketball games get more people to watch,\u201d Josie further explained. Swimming is an underrated and hard sport. Eighth grade swimmer Santiago Garcia expressed how swim is a tough sport. It is hardworking and has many physical and mental health benefits. The website BetterHealth Channel said that swimming builds endurance, muscle strength, tones muscles, and helps maintain a healthy heart and lungs. It also mentions how it is a great way to bond with others and meet new people. Swimming is a great way to be in shape yet also make friends and have fun.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swim is an important and crucial key to people&#8217;s lives. For instance, swim has impacted lots of lives positively.\u00a0 Being on the Seven Hills Swim Team has improved people\u2019s relationships with their fellow peers and their passion for swimming. \u201cIt\u2019s a really good team, the people on it are nice and the coaches are encouraging,\u201d Santiago said.
