The 8th-grade faculty did a tremendous job with decorations and planning, providing every kid with a spectacular experience and transforming our school cafeteria into a thrilling atmosphere for the dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People remember the dances even after the year is over. The annual dances give students opportunities gain new friends and relationships. An 8th grade survey found that 89.2% of the students attended the dance. 62.1% of the students dressed up, and 73% went with friends. When asked what they do before the dance, one person responded, \u201cI get ready either at home or with some friends.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nina Maloney, a 7th grader here at Seven Hills, said, \u201cI just like hanging out with my friends.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
8th grader, Ethan Markovich, stated, \u201cThe dances are so much fun, I always have a great time.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many students enjoy going to the dances to celebrate the school year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although it is such a fun night, some students have comments on how to improve it. 18.9% of students thought that it should be longer. Many students said that there should be more food and drinks, and \u201cbetter\u201d music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When interviewing Will Hyatt, he disagreed about the food: \u201cI like the snacks the best.\u201d The dance provides a variety of foods, like fruit snacks, cookies, and Rice Krispie treats. He believes that the food is good and doesn\u2019t need to be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another change people would like to see is the location of the dance. One person said, \u201cI would not have it in the cafeteria because the skirt of my dress was dragging on the floor.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nTo add to the exciting night, all of the dances have a theme organized by the dance planners. For this dance, the theme was \u201cHalloween.\u201d However, 8th grader Ananya Chaundra said, \u201cI feel like no one really follows them.\u201d When Ethan was asked if he usually follows the themes, he responded, \u201cThere\u2019s themes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dance allowed people to dance with friends and others. People usually ask each other during the fun night. People get asked in many different ways. Nina Maloney adds, \u201cI have had people ask me over the phone.\u201d Some ask at school or via text. Others ask directly at the dance. According to the survey, 40.5% of people dance with others. Only 10.8% of students bring a date. <\/p>\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nHowever, not everyone goes with others. \u201cI just go by myself,\u201d Ethan told us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
No matter who you go with, what you wear, or who you dance with, the dance is always guaranteed to be a fun evening. So, like Dua Lipa said, \u201cDance the night away.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
